Collaborator Agreements
Agree product-specific revenue shares without confusing financial participation with dashboard permissions.
Current program availability
Affiliate and collaborator agreements, invitations, and referral tools are available through controlled rollout. General sale accounting, automated recipient notifications, and live recipient transfers are not enabled. An accepted agreement or displayed estimate is not confirmation that earnings are accruing or a payment has been authorized. Confirm account availability with SoundSync before relying on the financial workflow.
Collaborator revenue sharing is supported
SoundSync supports collaborators with product-specific revenue-sharing agreements and separately tracked earnings. Agree each contributor's share without sharing your owner login; dashboard access belongs to the separate Team Accounts system.
Agree how a product's revenue is shared
Collaborator agreements record who participates in a product and the share proposed for each eligible product. Use them for product contributions without sharing the developer owner account or giving every contributor access to customer records.
Participation and payout readiness
Affiliate and collaborator programs support versioned agreements, referral activity, sale allocations, recipient balances, and settlement for enrolled accounts. Live participation requires explicit acceptance by both the developer owner and recipient of the current terms and payout policy, plus verified payout details. A calculator preview or invitation acceptance alone does not authorize live payments; availability follows the account's rollout and payout readiness.

Collaboration is not workspace access
| Relationship | What it grants |
|---|---|
| Collaborator agreement | Accepted product-specific revenue-sharing terms and separately authorized live participation |
| Team account | A separately assigned role and product scope for dashboard work |
| Reseller relationship | Approved external sales and fulfillment arrangements |
| Affiliate agreement | Referral terms, supported attribution, and eligible sale allocations |
Keep terms and capacity explicit
Review product assignments, rates, effective dates and the accepted version. Multiple collaborators share the post-affiliate remainder. Paused collaborator agreements retain their allocation capacity so resuming cannot exceed a complete product allocation. Ending an agreement preserves its history rather than deleting accepted terms.
Payout responsibility
SoundSync manages recipient settlement on SoundSync-collected sales. The 10% SoundSync fee is deducted first; ordinary managed-checkout processing is covered by SoundSync, not deducted again from recipients. The accepted affiliate share comes next, then collaborator shares and the developer remainder are kept separate. Eligible payouts follow the 1st and 15th schedule and minimum 14-day hold, with payment, destination, refund, dispute, and account checks. Externally collected reseller or partner sales remain unfunded estimates in this settlement system, and SoundSync does not cover their processing fees. No automatic cross-provider or currency conversion is promised.
Changing an agreement does not retrospectively rewrite a sale allocation or erase an earlier obligation. Refunds reverse the original recipient shares for the affected products; already-paid shares are recovered from future earnings. Pending refunds and unresolved disputes can hold the affected balance.
